Just figured out why I couldn't find this app. This recommendation is Android, and not in App store for iPhone/ipad. I did however find that they make an iOS version as well and it is called iAudioTool. It has no reviews as of yet but I will take your word for it and try this one out. I am sure that I will have some more questions along the way, as I have never used an SPL meter before. Thanks a lot for your help!

Ok. I went through the total setup and I think things went fairly well. Just wondering when you speak of setting the subs crossover to max, are you referring to the low pass crossover on the rear of the subwoofer itself (I think max is 150)? Also, when you say to set the sub volume at 10 o'clock, are you referring to the sub volume knob on the rear of the subwoofer as well? I dialed all the speakers in at 85 db's and I was wondering how you dial in the sub to blend? Is it all by ear or am I missing something else? It was only reading in the high 60 db's even when I turned the volume up quite a bit. If I tried to get the sub up to the 85db's I would probably blow myself out of the house  haha. Anyway, your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yes, on the back of the sub.

Tune bass level by ear, SPL meter probably needs calibration to measure lows properly.

Let us know what you think after you finish dialing it all in and breaking in the speakers.

Got it dialed in pretty well now I think. Sound is much improved. I was able to tone down the highs with some sort of tone curve adjustment on the receiver as well which also helped out. Sound is awesome from these speakers. I wish that I could equal out the distance from all of the speakers and I think it would be even better. Right now my fronts are about 10 feet from measured listening spot and the rear surrounds are only about 5 feet from the measured spot. Really happy overall though. Speakers are top notch for sure!

Hey golfingff,
Glad you got it dialed in. Thanks for reporting back.
I don't think the difference in distances will be a problem, IF you set the distances in your manual setup. I am assuming you did.
YES the Aons are certainly great little speakers,
Enjoy!!!!!
God Bless, Wayne
