Well, it's been over a week and the Aon 3's are still dominating main L/R position. They are a class act. Could be quite some time before they become L/R surrounds.

A few thoughts about the Aon 3's (they be funny):

"They have a much larger sound stage".

"There is greater separation between my L/R speakers. Instruments seem as if they are floating".

"There is much less sibilance. The highs are crisper and the bass is much tighter".

And there's always the eternal favorite : "it feels as though a veil has been lifted".

And don't forget "my wife came in from the other room asking if I changed something in my system. It sounds so much more real".

And my absolute favorite : I'm hearing things in my music that I have never heard before. "REALLY "?

To me they just sound great. :P

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hey Anthem,
Again, I am glad you are enjoying the Aons, and I enjoy your writing style. I am sure you know the right things to say to write a KILLER review!!!! Ha ha
I saw on your first post here that you ordered the Aons from a store in Nebraska. When I lived in Wyoming and went to school a few years in Nebraska, we also had to learn to make our own fun. To entertain ourselves.
HIFI, listening to great music on a wonderful system and the pursuit of sonic nirvana is, well more expensive than, but I think more fulfilling than, say tipping cows!!!!!!!!
I love that part of the world, BTW--that is no slur on Nebraska, but it is just too cold there for me.
Have a great time playing music,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.
