I had the T2s with a 50C and 2xSS3s but have since moved to a much smaller place and let go of the T2s.

Will continue to use the 50C as a center and 3s as surronds.

Question:

Am I better off with a pair of Aon3s and an FF4 or a pair of 50s and a FF4?

Thanks for the help.

Depends more on what fits your space. With the appropriate crossover, their performance is virtually identical. The Aon is of course more full range and can be used as a stand alone full range speaker, where as the SuperSat's are satellites and require a higher crossover frequency and a powered subwoofer.

Thanks. Both would fit my space. Was thinking 50c connected to a FF4 w/ Aon3s compared to 50s and a sub would be notablly different in a 5.1 setup.

I don,t think the Aon alone would be enough for movies so a FF4 seems needed.

Perhaps more about the Aon 3s vs the 50s.

Seems Aon 3s have the advantage...and a bit more stable on a stand.

Yes, for movies you definitely need the subwoofer.
