My Aon 3 now is sitting on a 27" stand which makes it 41" high all in all. I recently acquired a 21' stand which i intend to replace with the 27' stand i have now. Will the 5' drop in height create a negative effect on my staging? My ear level is around that 32-33' high. Will i be better off having a slightly higher stand than a slightly lower one?

Will appreciate any inputs. Thanks.

If you do all your listening sitting down the shorter stand is probably perfect for getting the tweeter at seated ear height. We typically suggest taller stands (30") to allow for good performance for a range of seated and standing positions.

Yes most of the time i enjoy the GEs seated. Looks like I will need to experiment myself and compare the 2. But your sound advice means alot.

By the way Modz, in the bluray.com GE forum, Sandy Gross drops and replies once in awhile. Do we have the same privilege here or you are Sandy?

LOL .... sorry, not Sandy, but I channel Sandy in all my replies. :-)

Actually, Sandy does monitor the GE forum and he will send me responses occasionally, which I post. If you (or anyone) had a specific question for Sandy posted here, I would get his response.

This is my setup now with shorter stands. I like its sound a little better. Its a notch higher than amazing.

Thanks Modz.

Beautiful setup!

I'm usually not a fan of the way bookshelves like the Aons look, but with the 50c in the center and the 2 subs it looks fantastic!

I wish more people would post images of their systems.
