I have owned my new GoldenEar speakers for 1 week. For the first few days, ran the 7s only as 2 channel to get to know them and better evaluate their qualities. Now they're part of my 5.1 surround system, including the new SuperCenter X.

I couldn't be more pleased - in fact, I've found myself smiling at times listening to music.

I'm not hearing speakers, I'm hearing music!

A few years ago, when I downsized my apartment, I sold my incredible Snell A/III massive speakers - they were magnificent!

In my new apartment I've been using the speakers in my previously separate 5.1 system. The GoldenEars replace 3, very good
bookshelf speakers - highly regarded, but still, large shoe boxes. They just couldn't resolve separate layers within large musical
compositions.

The 7s have opened up the sound, there's air surrounding individual instrument. I've now come closer to the fondly remembered
sound of the Snells. My new Golden Ear speakers have allowed me to put the past in the background and to enjoy the great sound
that I'm enjoying with my new purchases.

Yes, I continue to have a smile on my face.

Sandy and all, thank you.
