Greetings. I just replaced my old Martin Logan speakers with T1s (front mains), XXL (center), 4 x MPX (rear and back surround) and 4 x 7000 (atmos). I need to add another amplifier to power all of the speakers. Right now, the front mains are being powered by a Parasound HCA 2200 Mk II and the remaining non-atmos speakers are powered by a Sunfire Theater Grand. I am thinking of a 7-channel amp to power the 7 channel theater (non-atmos) and move the sunfire drive the atmos speakers. Pre-amp is Anthem AVM60

My preference is to by a high quality used amp such as a Krell, etc, but I would appreciate any thoughts/feedback within the forum regarding home theater configuration that also sounds great in 2-channel.

Thanks,
Chazman

Hi there,
I’m using Emotiva to power my GEs and very satisfied. I don’t see any justification in spending so much on power amps and bought Emotiva mono blocks for the front channels and a basic Emotiva multi channel amp for all the rest.
