Finally got my Triton speakers, a pair of 2s and a pair of 3s. They were a LONG time coming, but they are finally here.
They are not broken in yet, but they sound great already. I only had a day to listen to the 3s before I moved them into a secondary listening location, and set up the 2s today.
WOW!!!!!!
I have used Maggies and Apogee Stages for the last 25 years. I never could, and still cannot stand boxy coloration added to my music. But planar speakers, as great as they can be, are not as dynamic as I like, they don't have enough natural bass (and are harder than heck to mate with a sub) AND they like to be right out in the middle of the room with the wife and kids. The complaining wife and kids.

NOW I have it all. With the Triton 2s I have open, airy, live sounding music, that does not sound like it comes out of a box at all. The sound is natural, with all the dynamic attack and decay of real live music. The sound is just as warm and detailed as the best planars, never edgy or harsh. Natural is the word--with glorious bass. The speakers disappear, creating a wall of music that is a whole cloth. I can't believe how well that awesome folded tweeter works with the mid-range and they both meld with the built in subs.
IF these babies get to sounding any better, and IF I get them dialed in better, I will be more than SUPER Happy with my system. The last speakers I auditioned that sounded this great cost over $20K.
Thanks GE Tech, God Bless all,
Wayne

The T2s are not broken in yet, the amps are not broken in, the cables are not broken in, and I am WELL BROKEN IN and just plain BROKE!!!!!!
But I have never enjoyed such wonderful sound in my home before, in all my years, NEVER this GOOD!!!!!!
What is playing now:
Chris Jones "Roadhouses and Automobiles" ALL TRACKS, but No Sanctuary is probably my favorite (BTW, if there are crickets on the first cut, I cannot hear them, please somebody tell me that is just an audiophile myth)
Oppo 95 spinning the discs
Marantz AV7005 controlling volume and telling all the ducks how to get in a row
Vincent SP-T100 mono hybrid amps doing the heavy lifting
MIT CVT 2 Terminator connecting things including the speakers
Magnet IRG2000 power conditioneri with aftermarket power cords of different makes around, none breaking the bank
Triton 2 towers putting out the sound, about 10 feet apart, toed in, I am sitting almost 10 feet back
Comments or questions will be entertained
God Bless,
Wayne

Here is a fast set up for the living room using the Triton 3s. Not all hooked up yet, but I am on my way to work, so will do better and hide the wires as well as possible next time.
Blessings,
Wayne
