Thanks, Moderator Dude! January it is for info on new releases. Overwhelming your engineers?! That sounds expensive! I'd better start saving now.

I know we've said this before, but if you want help with market research, you could probably get a few of us to lend you our amateur ears (and other senses). I'm always willing to roll up my sleeves and get to work. ;)

Cheers,

T Cobe

For the "whatever it's worth" dept....

Re headphones, SQ in general, I'm pretty happy with the SONY MDR 1A's with Audioquest Dragonfly Red feeding them, BUT, here's my critique on SQ, and why I prefer GET sound to anything else I hear on headphones, HT systems, car audio etc. etc.

Treble range: For whatever reason, my ears are sensitive to harsh sounds in this range, and usually on other systems I turn down the treble to avoid harshness at volume. The HVFR tweeters are the first tweeters I have ever heard that not only aren't harsh, but are SWEET, SMOOOTH at any volume! I agree with T Cobe, GEt's tweeters are the best!

Mid range: lots of high end systems, including the SONY headphones, are clean and clear in this range, but I find with the GEt's a some richer sound. Others can sound a little clinical, as opposed to musical.

Bass; Ah, bass. Again, the SONY, and other systems, have clean bass. But, GEt's have a degree of richness, musicality, I just don't hear on other systems.

So, Moderator Dude, when the engineering team is through developing headphones with HVFR technology included, you have a bunch of people not only willing to buy them, but to "test drive" as demo's even before that!! :)

Keep up the good work, GEt!

Rick

Thanks, Moderator Dude!

The voicing on GEt systems is just....special. Accurate, clean, but just so musical. If the headphones can capture that amazing voicing, we'll all be lining up to try/buy them!

M-O-D-E-R-A-T-O-R :

Without releasing any actual information, could/would you tell us if there will be any floor standing speakers (new models or updated ones) released in 2017. A yes or no would suffice.

Thanks in advance.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Good luck with this one Anthem. Moderator Dude is pretty tight lipped. My guess is they are cooking up something good for January. Maybe a few things... You made a comment within the past week about a pair of T1s. Considering an upgrade for the T2s?

Cheers,

T Cobe
