My local Golden Ear Dealer phoned me to inform me that his demo pair of Triton II's had just been upgraded by GoldenEar Engineers and that they sound even better than when I auditioned them last week.
I'll be headed there later today to give a listen. I'm taking my Muddy Waters gold CD to see/hear if they sound better than my BP10's. Also taking my Ray Charles " Live at Montreaux" Bluray disc.

Yes, the very first units (only those shipped to dealers' showrooms as floor demonstration models in December of last year) did not have the final version of the control board installed so we have been updating dealer floor models to this current spec. This update simply allows for a more correct range of level setting for the powered bass section of the speaker. All units shipped subsequent to the first dealer floor models have had this update in place.

I do have a question about the center channel speaker though.
I'm going to replace my old Def Tech LCR with the GoldenEar Center channel speaker if I can get it to fit in front of my Panasonic 50 inch plasma.
What is the distance from the two little support feet from each end of the speaker cabinet?

The TV has a rather large oval base for its stand. I don't care about the speaker blocking the frame of the screen but would like it to be able to rest on the cabinet the TV sits on. At 4.75 inches high it would work out quite nicely just under the screen.
Tried to add photo but not sure how???

Perhaps I should have asked what is the distance between the two support feet?

PS Looks like the Center channel will be the first GoldenEar purchase if it will fit.

Sorry for the delay in response, I have asked our engineering department for a mechanical drawing so I could give you exact information - which I will have tomorrow. If you only need an approximate, your local GoldenEar dealer can certainly measure their display model.
