In this day and age it is my opinion that good customer service is mostly a thing of the past. I am here to say that excellent customer service at GoldenEar is alive and well.
I bought my beloved Triton 2's ( with center and surrounds ) back in 2011. They have worked perfectly for a variety of sources over the years ( Marantz Pre-Pro, Parasound Integrated, and currently a modest Marantz AVR for home theater. Then one of the sub amps in the triton 2's seemed to be going bad , and then went out completely.
Fearing the worse, like having to transport the speakers, and the cost of repairs, if the parts were even available. Keeping in mind these are ten years old and obviously well past any warrantee. I emailed customer service for advice on how to proceed and heard back almost immediately. Something to the effect of " well, we have to get you up and running again ".
Long story short, they send me 2 refurbished amp and input assemblies and I received them within a week. Easy installation and speakers sound as good or better than new. NO CHARGE ... they ever paid for shipping and return shipping. Amazing.
Not only the best customer service I have ever gotten, it's probably the best I've ever heard of from any company.
I've been wanting to get some good speakers for my bedroom - office for a while now, and the new Golden Ear BRX's were at the top of a very short list. Suffice it to say when I am ready to pull the trigger ( financially ) they will be the BRX's. Excellent quality and excellent customer service is a hard combination to beat.
