Given your room, 5.1.4 would work better than 7.1.

Regarding 2 or 4 height channel speakers, if the wires are to be pulled at the same time, the wiring cost should be only incrementally more plus the cost of two more speakers.

I have called 3 dealers and everyone has different opinions .. this dealer told me don't pay attention to crossover the fronts to 80 ,there capable of going lower ur going to take away what they do heat so u crossover at 60 and as far as Atmos you know most dealers will tell you whatever it is that will make them more money ..if it's adding two more speakers they make more money lol .. when I told them I would buy 14 guage cables on Amazon that r highly rated and cheaper n he was like I choose you to compare Amazon's to ours ,you may pay a little more with ours but you notice a difference lol

Looks like you're going to have a nice system!

Last question you saw pictures of my room I was told if I go with the 650 Atmos height speakers I need to have enough vertical separation to put rear surrounds speakers n that in ceiling wouldn't be the best placement because the 3 d Atmos affect will be lost with the rears surrounds also being in ceiling ..does that mean in wall would be better on that back wall at close to ear level using mpx ect

At this point, you need to be working with a dealer who can see your space.

Trust me I am .. I texted all the pictures of my room to dealer and this is what he said.. he did not like the idea of me putting rears on back wall and suggested in ceiling surrounds along with in ceiling atmos which doesn't make sense.. If im using the golden ear forums is because I have discussed with dealer my room , configuration and shared pictures and i do not agree with his opinion when it comes to the rears.. when using atmos speakers for heights to achieve ultimate results rears should be near or close to ear level as should the center and front and left speakers.. putting the rear surrounds at same height and only 4-5 feet away from atmos in ceiling will not provide the best results.. I have been doing my research , been on avs forums and on here and this is the opinion on others and since your the speaker manufacturer and I know you guys know best I wanted to ask the question directly on what you feel about the rear surrounds in a 5.1.4 setup.. Most dealers give you different opinions and depending who you talk to they all tell you different things which adds confusion
thanks
