After not using my system for some time I turned it on the other day.
Couldn't hear anything from my triton 2's except the upper section.

One of them has no light on and the other one blinks.

Not sure what this means. From what I remember the light used to be on continuously.

Any ideas or help most appreciated.

1) Blinking light, no output: Contact your dealer with the speaker's serial number (a back panel picture is easiest) and the description of the problem for warranty service. They will replace the electronics modules.

2) No light, no output: Verify the ac outlet is live, everything is plugged in tight, and the speaker's fuse is good. If all as it should be and still same, see solution 1) above.

Since we are talking about T2 lights - how long should the amp stay on when not receiving a signal? Mine stay on 3-ish hours before shutting off, much longer than my standalone subs. I did a test the other day:

1. Turn on system
2. Play music for a couple of minutes
3. Turn off system, ensure all powered amp lights still on
4. Unplug speaker wires from front-left t2, leave right t2 speaker wires plugged in. (Power obviously stays plugged in)
5. Periodically check to see when amp lights shut off

My two velodyne subs shut off between 20-30 minutes. My T2's shut off after 3 hours of not receiving a signal - even the left with the speaker wires disconnected stays on that long. Seems off to me.

Up to two hours is normal, and purposeful. First off, they draw very little power when on and not operating. And, most importantly, shorter turn off cycles result in the subs turning off during extended times of no low bass present in the program material.

So, with my T2’s always staying on longer than 3 hours - this is outside normal expectations. Can this be adjusted?
