Thanks Odo for the advice.

My T1 is in the shop now and the dealer indicated the ribbon tweeter was damaged. Still awaiting word if anything else was damaged.

I am very interested in the Emotiva 3rd gen amps which just became available for order for a late March shipping. These are the successor to the Gen 2 which are a great value, but I really want lighter amps and these are. I also want a better fit for 7 channels, one for the LCR and one for the four surround and rear speakers. I will wait for reviews on these before purchase, but expect them to be of equal or better than the gen 2s. I will probably get these along with the Anthem AVM-60 and run 4 long XLR cables to the 4 channel amp instead of current, long speaker wire.

LCR -> XPA G3 (3 channels @ 275 watts/channel), price $1,119, weighs 39 lbs
Surr & Rears -> XPA G3 (4 channels @ 260 watts/channel), price $1,399, weighs 42.5 lbs
Spkrs: GE Triton One L/R, GE SCXXL Center, GE Triton 2+ Surrs, DCM TF600 Rears
Pre pro: Emotiva XMC-1, PS Audio NuWave Phono Converter
Amps: Emotiva Gen3(2) 3-Chan LCR, 4-Chan Surr&Rears
Sources: Oppo BDP-105, ClearAudio Concept TT with MM Cartridge
Display: Vizio SmartCast P55-C1 Ultra HD HDR LCD
