When I power up my system, I power up my Left/Right power Amp, (MAC 7270), using the 12 volt trigger out on my Denon receiver to turn on a solid state relay to bring power to the MAC. Could I also power up the Triton Two's in the same manner? This way they will not even draw that "VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF POWER" even when they are not being used.

So the speakers and amp would power up at the same time.

Sure, as long as the device and the outlet can handle the turn-on surge of everything and the total power requirements during use, no problem. Good "Green" solution too - none is better than a little :) .

My AV system is on a dedicated 20 Amp circuit installed when my home was built.
I think it should handle it.
