Hi DGB100, I am running XPA-2's in bridged mode. I never turn them all the way up!! I really like the way they sound, lot's of reserve power, yes it's a bit of over kill. Even when I listen to music or movies at LOUD levels the XPA-2's never get close to the max output based on the LED meters. I don't think you could stand the sound level if you turn them up enough to hurt the speaker. I'm glad you found an amp you are happy with. That's all that matters:)
