I have noticed the past few weeks some static coming from the Triton Ones after digital has finished playing. Let me explain: My digital is a dedicated laptop with a 2tb usb3 hard drive. It is connected via a Wireworld starlite 6 usb cable to a Musical Fidelity v-Link192 usb/spdif converter. From there, a Wireworld starlite 6 coax cable connects the converter to a Wyred4Sound Dac-1. I have had this exact configuration with 3 different sets of speakers with no static problems. My entire system with the exception of the speakers are on a dedicated line and I use all Shunyata power cord and 2 Shunyata Hydras with passive filtering. The system was always dead quiet. Unfortunately, the Triton Ones are across the room and are on a different circuit but it is shared with other outlets so it isn't a dedicated line. Unfortunately I can't run a dedicated line for the speakers.

I have noticed that when the digital stops playing, I get an intermittent static through the speakers, perhaps once every 5 or 10 minutes or so. I am assuming the amp in the speakers is picking up some rfi or something in that power circuit. My question is would a non current limiting passive power conditioner possibly alleviate the problem? I am specifically looking at a Furutech E-TP80 PLC which is being closed out for less than 400.00 and it comes with a Furutech power cord as well. 2 of the outlets are rated at 1000watts each so I don't think there will be a problem. I spoke with their distributor and was assured there is absolutely no current limiting on each of the 1000watt rated outlets and that it should solve my problem or at least lower the static.

Can anyone chime in here with their opinion? Would love to hear from the Moderator as to his thoughts too.

Thanks.........................

The Furutech Power Conditioner arrived today. It also came with a very nice heavy duty Furutech power cord as well. I had a couple of Shunyata Venom power cords left over from a earlier system, so I replaced the stock power cords of the Triton Ones with the Shunyata Venom cords. They were plugged into the high power outlets on the Furutech E-80 power conditioner. The Furutech power cord went from the conditioner to the wall outlet. This made all the difference in the world because all the static is now gone and I played the system for a couple of hours at 95+db levels and I never felt there was a loss in power or dynamics. If anything, the dynamics seemed to improve as well as the soundstage becoming wider and there was more detail in the music as well. All positives, no negatives at all.
