That's a generous and thoughtful offer by the Moderator and well deserved. Between marketing, sales, and technical support here on the forum, you certainly have earned a VIP audition. You should really give the T1s an audition while your here in the US before you go back to your tropical retreat. I know you're happy with your T2, 3s, and 7s but the 1s really are special.

I certainly understand dealer loyalty. I wouldn't buy mine from anyone other than my local dealer either. That said, I think most employees at the high end dealers are audio enthusiasts and enjoy sharing their passion. As long as your not distracting them during peak business or making false promises, I don't see any harm in popping in for a listen. Let us know how it goes if you decide to check them out.

Another input: I can completely appreciate your concern about not wanting to "bother" a GE dealer if you're not going to buy, but I'm not sure you fully understand what your opinion/input means to all of us on the forum. We'd LOVE to get feedback from you on your impressions on the T1 (and the T5 if you have time). You'll be able to listen to the T2 and T1 (and T5) with any music you choose, on the amps you choose.

The dealer, Audio Systems in Austin, would also love to get the same feedback from you on what you think. They know you are an integral link in the GE forum, and would love to see you there.

This isn't a selfish thing on your part... consider it an obligation to the rest of us (hehehe)!

Hey Guys,
Coincidentally, or not? I got an email from an American buddy in Thailand who has been auditioning the Triton Ones in his home. And he reviewed them comparing them to $20,000 Wilson speakers. He told me that the Ones are really special speakers that play well above the level of the T2s (he has two pairs of T2s if I remember correctly).
So all you guys are killing me with these comparisons!!!!!
Making an audition of the Triton Ones a MUST.
Just not sure when, but Moderator Dude, IF I can make time (family obligations are most important) I will be contacting you about an audition.
