One of my Triton 2's has developed a problem (I've had it a little over 2 years). When plugged in, the green led flashes for a few seconds then goes dark. No active bottom end output. An immediate unplug and replug leaves the led dark. If I wait for around a minute after unplugging, the flashing / dark behavior repeats. There is a small (normal) pop when plugging it in telling me there is an initial circuit path. Same behavior regardless whether the amp is connected or not. Any ideas?

thanks,
Brad

Sorry, amp section has apparently failed. Contact your dealer with the serial number of the failed unit to arrange for service.

Thanks for the quick response. I called my dealer, and while on the call, I looked over and the amp was on.
Very strange. I suspect there might be either a flaky issue or there was some signal level confusion going on. I did a complete shutdown of everything one more time including my receiver and monoblocks and repowered. Perhaps that reset some signal level somewhere. My dealer said they have seen the Triton amps get confused w.r.t. signal resets too when amps/receivers go through multiple power cycles. Anyway, its working now. I'll keep an eye on it. It's just barely out of warranty (3 years last month) so here's hoping it's just an aberration.

thanks again,
Brad
