Corner placement can be a bit tricky, some like, some don't.... can sound boomy. If you do get a sub you may want to try The Crawl Test for determining the best possible placement. Place the sub in your La-z-boy (or wherever you'll be listening from) and crawl around the room, either listening or measuring for the best sound. Wherever you are when the sub sounds best to you is where your sub should go.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hi DisplacedHusker,
Bro Anthem can get pretty kinky if you ask me!!!!
I would put it in the corner, that is one great looking room, wonderful looking setup!!!
That orange thing needs to go anyway.
Ha ha
The other guys can give better advice than I can about sub placement, they laugh at me coz I have mine in the middle of the rear wall, AND I like it back there. AND I got no more room up front.
BUT you have room, you could put a sub in the middle right under the TV, that is the best place, probably. Except for the WAF.
I understand about that.
Whatever you decide, pls keep us informed, which way you went, what you did and how it sounds.
And Enjoy the search for sonic perfection.
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Sorry, just saw photo. In that configuration the corner placed sub would be LFE-only. Movie playing ceiling and dynamics would improve, no difference for music unless played in something other than stereo.

So in your opinion will there be much benefit from the additional cost?

If you watch movies at movie theater volumes, yes, absolutely.

I have been living with my new setup and loving it. Tritons set on large and sending the LFE to the subwoofer. Now after hearing Sandy on Home Theater Geeks I don't know what to think.. He is now saying to set the Golden Ears to small and use the LFE ON. Should I run all three subs on LFE? Possibly moving my external subwoofer to back or side of the room. I was shocked when I heard it and notice it has not been updated in his tips.

I think you mis-heard something, Triton Threes would never be set to small. Still set to large, but sub "yes" and run the LFE cables, which has been updated accordingly on the tips page.
