Almost that time now, I think, I hope. Should take custody of my new Triton 2s and 3s soon now. I will be moving them some from room to room, trying out to see which ones should be in which room.
When not just positioning the speakers, when moving them to another room, how do you handle them?
Do you pick them up by the base? I am a little afraid of messing up the cloth if I just pick them up with a bear hug around the middle.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, God Bless,
Wayne

Hey Bro Wayne glad to see you're almost home.

I have 6 pair of floor standing speakers in the house and they are all moved/picked up in the same way.
Left Triton...place left hand in front (middle of hand is 29 inches from floor). Right hand is placed at the rear (on the base)
Right Triton...left hand is placed on the rear (29 inches from floor) . Right hand is placed on the front (on the base)

If I lived closer I would gladly move your Tritons for you. All this dancing, prancing and weightlifting I do pays off.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks Mighty Anthem. So you do pick it up with the base? I thought that was probably the way to do it.
I am not sure I can get down that low, can you come over for a few weeks and move mine around for me????
Blessings,
Wayne

P S I loved the 29 inches thing!!!!!

I do the bear hug thing. Although, I was not moving them from room to room. I was just moving them several feet to test for best placement. Have you considered a hand truck with a blanket wrapped around it?

Wayne:
MOBrien's hand truck with a blanket suggestion works well, although it's considered the Lazy Man's (OLD FART) way.
Place blanket/towel on floor...place speaker (standing) on blanket...place left hand on top of speaker and with right hand grab blanket/towel....PULL.

Impress your wife and just pick it up (press it overhead 10-15 times) she'll think you're the Cat's Meow.

If all else fails...........I'll be right over. :cheer:

I say work smart, not hard. Especially when there is a chance of damaging a $1500 Triton 2... and yes I'm an "old fart" and proud of it! B)
