file New separates. 2k budget or so. Suggestions?

Looking at moving from a reciever to separates. Looking at outlaw, ati, used nad, rotels in the 125-175wpc range.

Have about a 2k budget for and amp, pre-pro, and an oppo 103. So 500 is spent on the oppo. Don't see needing a 7 channel system (unless that's really worth it in a 18x12 room). So I figure I can save money on a good used 5 channel amp.

Could stretch a bit of necessary. Suggestions?
