Mastering with a powered Triton seems to make very good sense. Their sound field is extremely cohesive and revealing: from top to bottom. I'm not sure I've ever heard a speaker that is more revealing than my Triton Ones. If there is a weakness in a recording, it is laid bare by the Tritons. Of course, my ear is probably not nearly as trained as wweiss or SVoidloss.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Well, now these have had a real good chance to burn in I am even more pleased.
My only real issue was that the tweaters were a little "tight" initially, and so getting my very high frequency balance to a stage where I was fully confident about translation, took a little longer.

They have relaxed now (or my ears have simply tunes to the sound, hard to tell when you get down to the really minute levels of change, so much subjectivity), and stuff is just sitting perfectly.

Have heard a few masters I have done on them on some very large club soundsystems and they translate extremely well.
Just wonderful speakers.

Goldenear technology makes me think of Clarke`s third law.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Hi, Svoidloss

Thanks so much for sharing. I do believe we'd all agree that "something magical is going on". I've never been so drawn to listening to a music system before, or so missing it when I travel.
