Hi Art, well said. It is a personal preference and there is no ONE way to do any of this stuff!! It's loads of fun to play with as you well know!! This forum is always positive and everyone desires to help. It's a great place to get opinions from folks with many years of audiophile experience. I have been a member for about 8 months so I am fairly new also. I finally replaced my Yamaha NS-1000M with Triton 1's and my Adcom amps with Emotiva amps. Its loads of fun, keep us updated as your T1's break in. You will notice a difference. I think you will notice the vocals you referenced earlier will improve.

Enjoy!!!

After a week of listening and a weekend of critical listening with friends the experience just gets better.

As a dedicated 2x channel system I don't have a 'sub out' option therefore I don't use the LFE input, however I can't imagine (in my room) needing any more bass than I get. The quality is right up there as well. YMMV B) .

I'm playing a lot more live recordings, and music recorded live in studio. The system puts me in audience about 5-10 rows from the front. I've never experienced this before, and I've listened to some reasonably high end systems, the most expensive being ARC DAC / power amps / Sonus Faber at about $80K. Goes to show money doesn't guarantee performance.........

My mates were pretty impressed over the weekend. Unfortunately we didn't get to listen to the Focals 1028Be's, in my room / on my gear, that will be another day.

Awesome.

Last night I dreamed about you
I dreamed that you were weeping
And your tears poured down like diamonds
For a love beyond all keeping
And you caught them one by one
In a million silk bandanas that I gave you long ago

The HVFR tweeter is outstanding, the best part of what are excellent speakers. Delicacy, presence, non-fatiguing, natural timbre.

YES Chcmuzza,
IMHO the HVFR is the key to GEt's success! It is awesome and nobody else has this technology down as well as our beloved GEt speakers. And this tweeter is miles better than the other kinds of tweeters out there. The fluid, smooth and musical sound of a ribbon in a small and manageable size!
God Bless,
Wayne
