Good idea to start another music thread.
Reading mojo magazine they recommended Joni Mitchell's orchestral Both Sides now

While there I found her doing a solo piano version of her song Woodstock. Not the best SQ but fantastic anyway:

Hey Wayne, re: the Fairfield Four, great bass vocals indeed. I use "Last Month of the Year" as a speaker test myself...

Given my experience with the Sandy-recommended Misty jazz SACD by Yamamoto, Tsuyoshi trio I was a little hesitant to try
another by the same group - Midnight Sugar. But it got such good reviews on amazon I thought I'd try it (could always return it I guess)...
www.amazon.com/Midnight-Sugar-Tsuyoshi-Y...00067Z2ZU/ref=sr_1_1

Anyway, top notch, highly recommended, very likely to become a go to system demo / system test disc.
The piano and bass are life-like, crisp, clean and sound great. Plus I love this bluesy style of jazz.
