Heard these guys sing this live in Houston, TX.
Mark starts off almost hesitant/tentative in his vocals, and you can hear it on a good recording and Triton speakers!!!

"The Bonzes" by the Fairfield Four, play this on a full sized Triton speaker which can handle the bass and you will hear these guys RIGHT in your room!!!!

This is a great song, but horrible recording on YouTube here. Get this on the CD and you will be blown away by the bass and SQ.

Wayne,

If you keep this up, you'll be up to 500 pages in no time... are you padding your post count here? Great stuff here! I particularly liked Natalie Merchant and Counting Crows.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Sorry, got on a roll and didn't know how to stop!!!!
I guess some of what I MIGHT be trying to do here (heck, I am not really sure) is just to bring to light
some GREAT music that doesn't make it on the other thread or on other "recommended" lists.
Yeah, I know a few of these don't sound that great unless you search for Hi Res copies (certainly the YouTube versions sound horrible), and perhaps I have/will recommend some songs that don't set the bar that high in "audiophile" terms. To my mind, there is a LOT to be said for GOOD music!!!!

Amanda Marshall's first CD is on my desert island list:
