Moderator,

Looks like GoldenEar Technology will not be at Audio Expo North America in Chicago later this month. Are there any other audio expos that GET may attend this Spring or Summer? Curious how you all decide on which events to attend. There are some heavy hitters at AXPONA so I'm curious why you're not attending (and a little disappointed as a fan). Hopefully it's because you are busy putting the finishing touches on the SuperSubXXL and designing other future offerings... ;)

I'm hoping to have my Triton Ones by the time of the show next weekend. I just ordered them yesterday. I suppose its just as well you're not at AXPONA, I may not see the light of day all weekend once the T1s are firmly seated in my theater! Thanks for offering incredible products at great prices so that even a schlub like me can afford and enjoy them! I hope we see you in the news again soon.

Kindest Regards,

T Cobe

GoldenEar only participates in trade shows, leaving consumer shows to our dealers in the area of the local show. If they choose to participate and demonstrate our products, we support that and often have a factory person on hand as well. We have done this many times over the years - and Sandy even introduced the Triton One at the Rocky Mountain Audiofest.

It just so happens that our downtown Chicago dealer, Saturday Audio, has chosen to participate in the AXPONA 2015 show, and devote one of their rooms to a Triton One speakers and McIntosh electronics demo system. Factory representatives from McIntosh and GoldenEar will be in the room.

So, we will be there, c'mon down. :)

I'm hoping so! Thanks, Po. Hopefully we can share our listening impressions. What do you have set up for driving the T1s?

Cheers,

T Cobe

Nothing fancy, I have a Denon X4000 in my basement, another upstairs driving two SS3 for L/R, SS50C and a Triton 3. Upstairs is where most of the living happens with my wife and kids!

How about you, what have you got planned? :)

Po,

That Denon should work nicely. It has a lot of features and good reviews. With the powered subs, the T1s are pretty easy to drive. A good receiver is all it should take to have them singing nicely but there are big dividends for future upgrades.

All of my gear is listed below. I'm hoping to move out all of the Paradigm gear once my towers arrive. I'm driving it all with an Integra 70.2. Once I have all of the speakers I need I'll start purchasing amps and finally a new pre/pro. I'm debating between an Emotiva and Marantz.

Cheers,

T Cobe
