Hi Wayne, forgot to comment on the other part of your post about multi-channel DAC-ing.
No, the Holo audio Spring is only 2 channels.
Can't blame you for sticking with multi-channel DACs but I do think you give up quality if just sticking to those.

Personally I'm thinking about having this dac in my HT setup too, as another source, just doing 2 channel, fed by a streamer listening to roon. Could be quite the sound coming through my TRefs then....

Btw saw on the Roon forums that the Kinks have had some MQA mastering done, so listening to that via Tidal on my 2 channel. Sounds excellent...
