Donald Byrd/Black Byrd (1973) -- Flight Time

Groovy baby.... yeah! What a laid back melodic funk groove Black Byrd is. And no there is not too much flute on the album.

Christian Scott / Rewind That (2006) -- Suicide

Overall, not a bad cd. A few of the tracks are distorted, especially the trumpet. Bass is a little thick in spots, but that's the speakers fault, right?

Paul Motian Band/Garden of Eden (2006) -- Pithecanthropus Erectus

Not my favorite album on the planet. And one would think from all the favorable reviews, that I'm the only idiot in the world that doesn't think "Garden of Eden" isn't a God Send. Even lame sounds Good on the T Refs. And because of that, the Paul Motian Band -- Garden of Eden will stay in my collection.
