I have never heard the T1's. While at the Dealer today, i asked for a demo. The T1's were in the same room with a $22k pair of Revels (the dealers wife says the T1's smoke the Revels) He opened up the listening session with The Eagles -- Hotel California. Fantastic Bass with super clean vocals. Next up was Count Basie -- Hanging Out. Super Sweet trumpet with no hint of glare. Equipment used was High End high powered McIntosh amps and Preamp. Could I live with the T1's? YUP!!

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Listening to Kombo from their Cookin' Out cd (2001) -- Hush

Well I'm 1 & 1/2 hours into my TR journey. IMPRESSIVE! The TR'S can sing! The first cd i played was Moon Hooch/Moon Hooch. The first thing I noticed was a three dimensional sound stage and a clarity in instruments that the T2's didn't have. Let's talk bass. Lots of it, detailed, and rock solid (Wayne, these speakers may be your cup of tea). Normally i think i sit around to much, but after hearing what I just heard in my brief listening session, I could sit ALL day long and have the time of my life with the TR'S. I'm Impressed! Can't wait for my next listening session.

Anyone who finds fault with the TR'S needs to be Committed.

Well Bro Anthem,
I am surprised, that song not only played, but I played it to the end, that was pretty good music I must say!!!!
When they did the back up singers chorus sound, are they just dubbing her voice into both channels in a reverb way?????
Or does she have backup singers? Listen again if you don't know what I mean, my T Ones make it VERY clear how they are playing with that background singer sound.
Your bass is obviously much better than mine. I am gonna fix that.
Enjoy, actually I hardly think I need to tell you that.
What does Juanita think of the new kids in town????
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Wayne, HMMM....???? :cheer:

Anthem, great report! As Wayne said, you don't need any help from us to remind you to enjoy the listening! Sounds like you're doing a great job of that on your own!

Bro Rick,
I am in the process of adding a 16" sub. But for what that is gonna cost me, instead of buying the T Ones and a sub, I could have bought a Reference. BUT it is too big for my room, my home theater. The good thing about the sub is, I can put it in the back of the room and this one will be able to connect with balanced xlr wire, what I already have in place back there.
I am bound and determined to get that last octave or two. I know what the opening to Also Sprach Zarathustra is supposed to sound like. I want to get there.
Come over in a month or two and see if I managed it. And I want to hear your References and see what the bottom end is like.
God Bless,
Wayne
