I'm watching the last few minutes of the Villanova and Wisconsin game. No matter how it turns out, the Badgers had a good showing against the overall number 1. The sound is muted and I'm listening to Sketches of Spain. It's a very orchestral jazz album, so it may strike a chord with our classical fans as well. This is one smooth trumpet! Good stuff! Listening on a dead quiet LP that also came with Porgy and Bess. To ease the tension, I'm also accompanying the experience with a 2 finger pour of Caol Ila. I guess I'm in for the night. :laugh:

Yes sir, we've had some pretty good basketball lately. Friday, the KU Jayhawks buried UC Davis and the Wichita State Shockers downed Dayton. The only game that didn't surprise me was KSU Wildcats shut out by Cincinnati...I've never thought much of KSU. I also watched the majority of the Wisconsin/Villanova game, great game. I was rooting for you, T Cobe.

Today Wichita State plays Kentucky and the KU Jayhawks play the Michigan State Spartans. I'm praying Kentucky and Michigan will be shown where the exit door is.

As you know, Duke is playing tonight...SCREW DUKE!

My scotch glasses are pretty small. Two fingers is less than 2 shots. All things in moderation... I'll have to remember that 2-finger measuring technique on more festive occasions. :laugh:

Frank Mason III added 20 points for the top-seeded Jayhawks (30-4), who have advanced to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament in nine of coach Bill Self's 14 seasons.

Devonte' Graham added 18 points and Landen Lucas had 10 for the Jayhawks, who shot 53.1 percent (34 of 64) in the win.
