Wayne,

This was my first album by Isbell and it's pretty good. Most of the songs are a bit melancholy, but they are well written and th SQ on the CD is also pretty good. The sound isn't as good as Lucinda Williams' album, but pretty good. In fact his music has a similar feel to it, IMO. I'll probably check out some more of his albums as well.

Cheers,

T Cobe

I like this one. Seems like a bit of a fusion of several genres of music, but mostly country and blues. I think this one just got added to my wishlist.

Cheers,

In sonic heaven with this, Kohei Tanaka is one of my favorite composers, the Youtube audio doesn't compare with the CD's of course! :D :

Bro T. you are costing me money!!!!
But I need to catch up on country, and your recommendations here are exactly what my daughter and son-in-law in Austin are saying is all the hottest!
Well, other than Chris Stapleton, "Traveller" of course. We have already covered him.
God Bless,
Wayne

Miles Davis Quintet / Relaxin with Miles (1956) -- You're my Everything

Excellent song -- Excellent cd!

T Cobe: I was rooting for the Badgers. That pesky Michigan team is a great team. Sorry for your loss -- when's the Funeral? :)
