I found this album on DEEZER, and just finished streaming it in FLAC format. Good stuff. Plenty of bass from the double bass, augmented in places with organ. Thanks, Pbgalvin!

For all you guitar aficionados, may I present Peter White...from his, "Here we Go" cd...
"My Lucky Day"...beautiful song.

The wife says if I spend $605.00 on the Super Double Bass cd and play it twice, that comes out to $25.00 a song...I like Her Way of thinking.

Great choice! You are a man of many talents and tastes. Once again, DEEZER comes through and lets me stream the whole Peter White album (there are MANY Peter White albums available for streaming). FLAC SQ is so much better than MP3 through SPOTIFY etc. that DEEZER is about the only streaming I do now.

Heck, it also seems I just saved $605 by streaming "Super double Bass"! :laugh: Heck, I even saved enough to buy a couple more Anti-Cable reference 3 power cords! :cheer:

Starting the day out with a cup of Adame Gorbota Ethiopia from JBC accompanied by Nora Jones on LP. Here's a little bass groove from track 3. Consequently, it feels a lot like Spring. Most of the snow is gone and the birds are showing up at the feeder.

Something new...Bro Anthem has picked another winner.
Branford Marsalis Quartet / Requiem (1999) -- Trieste

To date, this is the best Branford cd that I've heard. Everything works and works well.

T Cobe: My wife likes Norah Jones. I think she's a drag. I call her s - l - o - w -- M - o. One speed Norah.
I see now why you drink coffee...Norah puts me to sleep too. ;)

Well Anthem, you did it again! Another album on the wish list. I like that one a lot! There is a lot going on there to include a lot of tempo variation.

Yes, Norah is a bit slo-mo, but it fits my mood and pace first thing in the morning before coffee. She has a very smooth and sultry voice.
