I could not comment on the interview video with Stereophile's John Atkinson and our Sandy Gross. But I LOVED it!!!!!
Thanks Moderator Dude to share that!!!!
Sandy said quite a few things I liked, he said his father used to say "In our family we know what good is!!!!"
GREAT comment!!!!
Two or three times JA referred to the $8500 price of the TRefs as 'affordable'. But Sandy seemed to have a better real world view that for some of us they are NOT that affordable.
I also enjoyed his J. Futterman amps story.
Great watch, thanks,
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Thanks Wayne. I am always hesitant to share these "open for comments" links because crazy trolls say the darndest things. Always afraid someone will miss the good stuff (the video) and focus on the nonsense comments from the uninformed.

i agree, a great interview. It was fun to hear Sandy's thinking. I'm looking forward to the Stereophile review of the TRefs. January issue, I'm hoping, so it should be in my mailbox in about a week.
Digital source > multiple boxes and cables that are always changing > Triton Reference speakers

With numerous years and a bevy of products, Goldenear has never been awarded an Class A rating on ANY of their products. When the Triton 1's came on the scene, I thought, surely the 1's would garner an "A" rating. Nope. Class B. What's it gonna take? I hope John A. cleaned out his ears for the review. If the T Refs aren't Class A, I'll need to have my hearing checked, and you can rest assured I'll be cancelling my subscription to STEREOPHILE.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Unfortunately the ratings are weighted with irrelevant (IMO) factors ... but most importantly we are always very happy to see all of our reviewed products included in this list each year. That alone is a great honor, so I'd suggest that you don't sweat the Class detail, the line between A and B is pretty transparent.

As a 3-GE-Speaker pair owner, I could care less about what some reviewer says. I listen to music several hours minimum each day and I am a critical listener. I am delighted with my GE speakers and the wonderful sense of pleasure and peace they provide each day.

Happy listening,

Art
