Not happening, read our Atmos systems discussion on our website. We feel this is a low-fidelity, very poor solution for playback of the very good new immersive audio formats. We don't make bad sounding or bad performing products, it's not in our mission.

You know what? I do my serious listening to music in stereo and I don't even use a sub. Atmos is just ear candy for an occasional movie or something and I'm not looking for God.

If GoldenEar won't make something for people who don't want to cut holes in their ceilings and walls I guess I'll just kludge something from a different manufacturer. Maybe it's time to dump my Triton's and take a look at Def Tech again?

Personally, I don't need "spankings" or other admin attempts to belittle my question. I'm a pretty smart person and don't appreciate it at all.

tomaras wrote: While this might be heresy, I'm not all that concerned with absolute accuracy when it comes to atmos efx type of stuff. I listen critically to music through two speakers, and have my FUN with movies and entertainment. Even if it meant, putting the up-firing speakers in place for a movie and removing them and setting them on the floor for critical listening I'd be fine with that.

Ok...you can spank me now! :)

Tomaras:
Do you not read your own posts? You are the one that stated, "Ok...you can spank me now!" Over 2 years have passed since you wrote that, I was wondering if you've changed your mind...playful banter. Obviously, GE is not interested in the Upfiring technology (if that's what you call it) Definitive Technology has what you want...Go for it! We are here to Help you, NOT crucify you.

We do, the SuperSat 3C is recommended for ON-WALL height channel applications in all of our system product application discussions on our website.
