Is it me, or does the room look bigger with those slim Tritons? Also, that back wall is cool. What material is it?

(2) Triton Two - front mains
(1) Sat 60C - center
(2) Sat 50s - sides
(2) Sat 50s - rear

Murphy,

I got rid of the Paradigm sub and the audio rack when I moved in the towers, so that helped open it up. Head on, the Triton Ones do look less obtrusive to me but my wife's first words when she saw them was "That's Ridiculous!"

It's going to sound bad, but the walls and ceiling are blacked out with landscaper fabric. We bought the house last June and it had cheap paneling glued on top of drywall. I removed the paneling but haven't had the time or money to repair the drywall. Right now I'm focusing on the electronics. Once all that's situated, it will be time to upgrade the decor.

The added benefit of the fabric is that it does a great job on the acoustics. In areas where I wanted to add a little more correction, I have wrapped foam pads with the fabric and placed them on the walls. Sounds low rent, I know, but it works well.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Just my opinion Hemo, and everyone has one, but I would use the Aons. And Aon 3s are better than Aon 2s, IMHO, but up to you.
Whatever you think will sound better in your system.
Hope this helps,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hemo,

I know you can anticipate what I'm going to say... That's a great offer that is worth serious consideration. I think the T7s and the SCXL are a perfect match and I doubt you would regret the upgrade. Ultimately, you have to decide what's best for you. Looking forward to the pictures. Congrats and happy listening!

Cheers,

T Cobe
