Brother...you wanted budget, I'm giving you budget (cheap)

RADIO SHACK:

STEREO RECEIVER:
SHERWOOD RX-4109 STEREO RECEIVER (105 WATTS) $99.99

TURNTABLE:
PYLE PRO PRO PLTTBI BELT-DRIVE STEREO TURNTABLE $71.99

Truth be told, I haven't met one woman that gives a RATS REAR END about great sounding electronics... is your daughter any different?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Wayne: I've been in many homes through the years, Sony budget products dominant the scene. A Sony Stereo Receiver (Onkyo makes great budget equipment) paired with a nice Turntable...how about a Thorens? eBay has many too choose from.

What I don't see in homes is budget equipment paired with fantastic speakers, such as the Aon 2's...perhaps your daughter could be the exception.

Thanks Buddy,
Next time you are in someone's house, if your hands are not too full of jewelry and such, just pick me up a cheap system!!!!
Seriously, I know what you mean. I will look some more, on audiogon and other places.
I always think of NAD, Marantz, maybe Denon or Onkyo but never Sony.
She may not get Aons, because she says now she wants floorstanders with some bass, OR a sub. She is sure as heck not getting my
Triton 7s!!!!
I was kinda hoping someone had something good that they are not using they wanted to sell cheap.
I used to, but have just gotten rid of my extra stuff, and for NOTHING. But I can't carry it half way around the world to give to her anyway.
Thanks for thinking of me, God Bless,
Wayne
