Friends and neighbors, boys and girls,
My daughter (a young school teacher) just going through a divorce, lost the stereo. She kept the albums but lost the turntable.
IF she was here in Thailand I could fix her up easy as can be. But she is in America. I need recommendations on a system that is VERY cheap, she is not an audiophile, but loves her tunes.
She needs to be able to play 2 channel, LPs and CDs and listen to the FM.
What can I get her, there WILL BE some GoldenEar Tech speakers, that goes without saying, but which ones?
And played by what?
We are looking for value for little money here.
This is an area that I have not visited in a long time. I have cables that cost more than this system will cost (old Dad says hopefully, since this will be birthday/Christmas present for her).
Any input will be appreciated.
God Bless,
Wayne

Santa, what is your budget?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Not enough
I have no idea what this will cost me.
I may have to look at used or pawn shops, she is NOT an audiophile.
Still, you know me, have to have good sound.
Blessings, Wayne

Ha ha ha, thanks Bro
But this will be LOW cost.
The only thing I agree with is the Aon 2s, which already break the budget.
The price is right, come on DOWN!!!!
Blessings,
Wayne
