In the first response, you mentioned a crossover of 120 Hz, so 100 Hz is not a "high" crossover point but rather a lower crossover point. I am confused. Do you mean I should not go too high (in other words, 120Hz would be optimal for these speakers, but due to the back corner placement of the sub, we cannot go that high?

Sorry - yes, lower, as indicated in the numbers, my bad. The lower crossover point (100 vs 120Hz) will allow for less localization of the rear sub, but will limit the overall playing ceiling of the 3D Array. Should still sound excellent within its output range.

Great, very helpful.
I am all set, except for actually purchasing the sound bar.
Can't wait.

I am in the exact same situation as you are. Going with the Soundbar + 2 surrounds in-ceiling + subwoofer. How did your corner subwoofer placement turn out? What crossover did you end up using?

I ended up getting the soundbar and really like it. I crossed at 120 Hz on the subwoofer, and then am using a Denon 3312ci which then further tunes based on the room dynamics. I can tell you, with / without the automatic adjustment of the Denon there was a huge , I mean really huge difference.

DId you end up placing the sub-woofer in the corner of the room or next to the soundbar?

Also, did you audition the DefTech Mythos XTR-SSA3? Its a very similar product. Im curious how it fares against this.
