Just my two cents, really hard to call something "very similar" when lots of important stuff is different ... anything with a dome tweeter is immediately "very different" actually ... as are the GoldenEar mid-bass drivers ... as are the designers, engineers, etc. Yes, they're both satellite loudspeakers, that's where the similarity ends.

My apologies, I used that term "very similar" quite loosely.

No worries... just wanted to avoid confusion for other members.

Corner subwoofer placement worked fine for me.
When I heard the ribbon tweeters of golden ear, and did some research, i was convinced these are the best speakers for the money.
I did some comparisons to several other brands, but I don't remember which.
