No more advice needed here. Everyone seems to have it covered. Just wanted to say I'm also in a large basement room and play stereo music through my T1s with speaker level inputs only with bass gain knob at the 1 o'clock position as well. If I'm not mistaken, basements require a bit more gain. I prefer LFE inputs for home theater only. I also have a dedicated sub for music and home theater for a little better dispersion. The T1s provide plenty of bass and LFE on their own, but the added sub behind my PLP provides a little better balance.

The T1s really are an amazing speaker. It will be an aha moment when you get the setup dialed in. Keep at it and be patient. You'll get it figured out and it will be well worth your effort.
