Anyone knows what type of power supply used in force field 4/5? Is this switching type? What is the warranty on the power supply?
Thanks.

From Engineering:

"The power supply that we use to feed the Class D amplifier has nether a switching transformer nor a linear (mains transformer) power supply. We use a different approach. As a result of our approach there is almost no power loss or series impedance in the power supply feeding our class D amplifier. Makes for a power supply that can supply large amounts of current to the class D amplifier when needed. This low loss power supply sheds almost no heat so the amplifier package can be very small with very high output power delivered."

This is a very unique and proprietary design so they won't give out any more details than the above. Based on the ForceField subs' power-output/price ratio, I understand why. :)

Hope this helps, thanks for the interest!
