Well, we've had the GoldenEar Triton Reference speakers for a few weeks now.

There was no A/B-ing needed to notice the difference between the T-Ref's and the Triton One's.

After about 100+ hours they started to loosen up, just incredible, I'am speechless.

"Definitely worth the price of admission"!

Thank You!

True that. +1 :)

Take your time and tweak it even further using the subwoofer control. Generally 12 noon is where you want to be, however, in no way is that absolute. Each "dot" on the dial equates to approximately +/- 1.5db (depending on clockwise or counterclockwise). Once that is optimized, there is even greater benefit to be had.

Also, if you're not using the LFE input(s), place good quality (very inexpensive) shorting plug on them. That will further reduce the woofer noise floor.

Best of luck to you, Steve. :)

I upgraded from the Twos to the Ones a few years back myself. Would you say there’s the same degree of difference stepping up from the Ones to the References as there was from the Twos to the Ones?

I never owner the 2s. I had the 1s and upgraded to TRef. *Major* difference.
