Hi MKM,
I just saw this and it looks like you have already made up your mind, perhaps already bought.
I saw the list of what you prefer and I have to hand it to you, I think you will have a mind blowing theater!!!!!
You can always upgrade in the pre-processor and amp department later, when you save up some more.
But you are gonna love the Triton 2s!!!! I know everyone talks up the Triton Ones, I have the T2s and love them.
The 2 X FF5s will kick some real butt and the SC-XL is gonna be perfect.
Honestly with no bigger than your home theater is, I was thinking the Ones might be too much, that is the situation I have.
Please report how it sounds when you get it set up, and ENJOY the movies and music!!!!!
Great choices, well done,
God Bless, Wayne

i don't know - are you sure you'll have enough bass, LOL. And you have to settle for the Triton Twos? Life if rough! In all seriousness, this is a great setup. Hopefully you have enough 120V wall power on these amps :)
7.1 today, moving to 7.1.4 tomorrow
(2) Triton Two - front mains
(1) Sat 60C - center
(2) Sat 50s - sides
(2) Sat 50s - rear
(2) DIY 18" Stereo Integrity subs, 1100w each

Hello everyone,

I will try and make this short and sweet. I have been looking to upgrade my “living room” home theater system for years and the time has finally come to pull the trigger. I have auditioned both the T1’s &T2’s however I have yet to make a finally decision. Either one of these speakers will be used as front L&R with the surrounds yet to be decided. What I need help with is making sure I’m not going overboard on my system based on my room constraints.

My living room is 22.5’ long by 12’ wide. Now that may seem like a strange dimension but the TV wall is where I get the 12’ wide measurement. There is probably an additional 5-6ft until you reach the tile floor of my kitchen. The living room opens into a “large” open kitchen, both sharing the high, one way vaulted ceiling. My question is, do I go with the T1’s (my preference) or would the T2’s be a better choice based on my room dimensions and layout?

Lastly, I would also appreciate any thoughts on surround speakers. I read the recent Sound&Vision review of the Triton 2+ speaker system which used Invisia HTR 7000’s as surround channels. I am not opposed to going with in wall speakers for my surround but the Aon 2 or 3’s would suffice equally as well.

Thanks so much and I look forward to your suggestions.
