Has any regular end user purchased and set up a pair of these yet?
Dying hear what the average Joe had to say!

Hi Rogersengland,
No average Joes here so probably nobody can respond.
Actually, most of us have our speakers already, those who regularly contribute, so we will need some new owners of the T5s to chime in here.
I am looking forward to their report as well, happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

I was just at my local GET dealer to pick up my T1s and they had the 5s breaking in. They had just arrived earlier today. First impression, very similar to the T1s minus the low bass. Extremely clear and the imaging was amazing. They were approximately 12 feet apart and I was listening standing at 6 feet due to the room constraints and the image was dead center of the room! I'll be going back to listen more later.

Cheers,

T Cobe

I most likely have a different amp and different room acoustics so this is to be taken with a grain of salt.

I have them. I compared them with the sevens and they are worth the extra coin. From what I was told, the magic is in the crossover. That is one of the main reasons they are more expensive and it is the same crossover that is found in the Triton one. They do dig deep but I still suggest a sub; I cross at 50z to lift up the bass section for it to be more "present".

They like power. I recently got a Anthem MCA50 and the dynamics are now very very impressive. I had a Emotive UPA 700 (80 * 7) and I feel the extra headroom allows them to be all they can be. The sound stage is absolutely stunning and I find my self reading while listening to 2 channel more often. No BS, it is the first time I have owned speakers that image and envelope a story for my ears. Hell, I had no idea what that meant, I just thought it was flowery language thrown around be guys with a lot of money.

If you are considering them, the wait is worth it. These are speakers don't need any introduction as you already may know.
Play it loud.
