Hi,

I think everyone has chimed in with good information in answer to all your questions?

In summary, if you have room for the feet, use them, it is always a good idea to allow some air to flow under the cabinet to prevent coupling with the surface it sits on (and make sure to pull it all the way to the front edge of the shelf it sits on too) and to prevent possible vibration.

Position the insert over the hole you want to use and give it a good whack. It will pierce the fabric and drop right into the hole. One or two more moderate smacks until the insert is flush with the fabric and you're done.

Late to respond and yes, use the rubber feet. Moderator hit the "foot" on the head...bad pun. B)

If you like those GET's now, wait until that center channel gets broken in.

My foot anchor install didn't go so great, fwiw. Followed the instructions and used a small rubber mallet to tap them in. On the second foot, one of the phase plugs came loose and fell out of a woofer. Now I'm waiting on my dealer to request a replacement woofer be sent out for me to swap. Not the best start to ownership.
