I'm about to move into a new place and I'll be purchasing a new larger TV + accompanying TV stand. I'm not sure if I'll be able to wall-mount the new TV so I need help finding a good TV stand. My question is, what size shelf would I need in order to provide enough room for my SuperCenter XL to sound great?

And with that, if someone has a recommendation for a TV stand that can support a 65inch TV and a SuperCenter XL I'd be grateful!

Besides fitting, just make sure you have a couple inches above, and perhaps room for adjustable feet if you will need to angle the speaker up or down a bit.

As long as it is part of a home theater with bass management (low bass frequencies directed away from the center speaker to the powered subs), yes.

So what would the proper bass management setting be in this case?

I've found in my current set-up that crossing over the XL at 50hz and directing the rest towards my Triton Threes delivered the richest sound.

We suggest 40-80 Hz, depending on various factors, so you are right there. If that sounds the best and you have no issues, you're good to go. If you are concerned about the energy from the top mounted radiators, just move the crossover up to 80 Hz. Enjoy!
