Just recently purchased 4 sat 50s which i plan to use for surround and a sat 60c for center. I have a infinite baffle sub system with 4 15's and which can develop 20hz at 106dBA. Im trying to figure out which towers to get as my room is 16 by 25 and want to ensure i have enough mids and highs to for a strong soundstage. I thought about the triton 7 as frankly the sub sections in the other towers will not rival my sub system, so this maybe a waste of money however i notice the mid drivers vary from each of the towers.

Any opinions on which front tower to get?

Thanks Kal

Welcome Kal to the GoldenEar Tech family!!!!
You are in for some really good sound!!!!
I probably should ask you if you listen mostly to music or movies? What kind of amplification will you be powering the Tritons with? What kind of music or movies? But hey, I would LOVE to come over and hear that BASS!!!!! Sounds like you will rock the house.
So to speak directly to your point about the Tritons, I would indeed go with the Triton 7s. I have them in a bit bigger room, with a HIGH ceiling, going to a loft, LOTS of space and just powering them with a 45 wpc tube amp and they can fill the room. The Treble and Midrange are to die for, the bass needs some help for some kinds of music and all movies.
And you already have the bass.
You cannot go wrong with the Triton 7s. And I don't usually recommend that to anybody, I almost always say, get the best speaker you can afford! Triton Ones if you can afford them, you might not always want to run your system with those subs.
That is what I usually say, but in your case, I just want to assure you, you will not be disappointed with the T7s.
Please let us know what you decide and how it sounds, how it works for you.
And enjoy the fun putting a system together, enjoy the music/movies.
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Thanks for the follow up Wayne, I appreciate the input.

I plane to use my GE setup 90% home theatre and the other for airplay using my ipad through my receiver. I will be running my GE setup with a Emotiva XPA5 which is 200wrms into 8 ohms.

I guess in the end i was leaning to the 7 but kept thinking is there any other reason to opt for the triton 3 or 2 in terms of output, imaging or overall performance aside from their advantaged of low end bass response(which i dont care for given my sub system)

Thanks again Kal

The Seven is the logical choice. In terms of maximum playing ceiling, I believe the Triton Two will play only slightly louder than the Triton Seven when playing from 80Hz up, with very similar fidelity in that range. Only the Triton One would outperform the Seven in that 80Hz on up "Small" speaker setup you are proposing.
