I want the Tritons 2's (+ cinema) so bad ! ... but I am concerned with my rooms layout. ( 12W x 16L x 8H).
From the rear wall I only have 12 inches to the back of the triton's and they'll be separated by a max of 9 feet. The Front/ right triton will be 4 feet from the right side wall and will be nearly touching my sub which is placed in the right corner of the room.
Is this configuration a 'deal breaker' ?

Please advise
thanks Rich

Hmm.... can you relocate the sub (I presume it will be an LFE-only sub in your new TritonCinema setup)?

Will the 9 feet apart Tritons be 15 feet away from your listening seat? If so, that's the only part that is somewhat troubling, as best imaging and soundstage presentation is achieved with the speakers are as far apart as you are from them. Otherwise though, no worries.

No my seating area would be = to the distance that separates the speakers (9 -10 feet)
So I thinks its nominal triangulation. I also spoke with the man (Sandy) today and he agreed that the space to the rear wall is not an issue at all. He suggested adjusting the bass levels accordingly. So its looking good.

thanks for your help

I would greatly appriciate some thoughts about speaker placement on my living room (attached).

My plan is to place the plasma TV on the wall and place the Triton 2's at both sides of the wooden chest. I can push the chest a bit to the left, even if it sticks a bit out from the back wall. My worry is the fact that one speaker will be in the blocked corner on the right, while the other speaker will be on the open side on the left. I think it is going to make a bad listening experience... I currently have the living room rotated 90 degrees (facing the window). I think the Audio is better (with a set of other floor speakers not shown in the image), but this arrangement is not very comfortable for me so I will need to move back to the layout shown in the image.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Hard to tell from the small image but it looks like the right speaker would be tight in the corner. Sonically, we suggest at least a foot or so from all surfaces, a pretty good rule of thumb for any speaker of course. That said, your space so we all make do... nice thing about the Tritons is that you can adjust bass level individually, great for balancing differing boundary effects for left and right speaker.
