Hi Wayne,
Good hearing from you again. Getting some really great advice which is awesome. I was so close to picking up the Yamaha MX-A5000 power amp but I'm holding off on that. I'm now leaning towards the Emotiva XPA-5. I never looked into this brand before now. They seem to be an excellent value for money VS performance. Just hope they ship to Canada as Amazon does not ship this item. Going to check out Emotiva's website. I really like the idea of how easy it is to upgrade to a mono block in the future. That sounds really intriguing to me.
But first lets see if I can purchase the XPA-5 first. Will keep you posted.
Cheers!!!

Fried One: Emotiva has a E-Club ($49.00-one year) which will allows members to receive 10% off all orders. You may also be interested in the XPR-5 (400 watts x5) multichannel amp...it's their Flagship. It's large, measuring 17"wide x 9.5"high x 19.5"deep...they recommend a 20 amp circuit. Both the XPA-5 and XPR-5 would be great choices... I believe you could live with either amp a long time.

Hey Anthem,
Thanks for the hook up. I'm so excited, I placed my order for a XPA-5 this afternoon. I also enrolled in their e-club program for 10% off my purchase. You can't go wrong with that deal. I'm now trying to figure out how to hook it up to my RXA-2000 AVR ( which I'll be using as my Pre-Amp). I have two outputs for each channel L+R but only one input on the XPA-5 . So I figure I have to use just one of the two pre-outs for each input. Left or right, does it matter.
Just let me know if I got it right with regards to hooking it up. The idea of being able to add a mono block or two in the near future is so exciting to me.
Thank you guys for bringing the Emotiva brand to my attention. Now just have to wait patiently for it to arrive.
Cheers!!!

To get started use the pre out labeled front/presence L/R of the Yamaha > to the corresponding F/R and F/L input on the XPA-5...this will get your Triton's hooked up.
