I just ordered four HTR7000s for my family room Atmos setup. I was told they would work for me, but now believe my room is too small to place them as far away as they should be for that height. Is there a guideline for the proper distance from MPL for these speakers to be placed at 12ft?

The HTR-7000 has a 30 degree angle, so you might want to work the math for these to point to you "on axis". At 12' high, they'll be fairly far away from you. Often, the Invisa 650 is used if the 7000 are too far away.

Thank you for the reply, Moderator. My calculation shows the speakers should be located approximately 63” from the MLP. Are you able to tell me what is the angle of dispersion for the HTR7000? I am trying to decide how much area I can optimize the speakers for.

I am sorry to say that I don't have that information. But 63" away should offer very good coverage
